Junior Church meets all year round with help from other members of the Church family. There are special services at various times during the year. For example on Mothering Sunday the children and young people give all of the women a daffodil posy, Sunday School Anniversary in May, a Thanksgiving Service where our young people receive a gift and we lead the Nativity Service. We try to meet a few times a year to have a social time together, the giving and receiving of fellowship even at a young age enhances our Sunday morning time together. Although the majority of our children are from Church families we are beginning mission on the local estate and occasionally new children come to join us. The staff meet regularly to plan events, talk about concerns and consider ways in which we can further our work.


The Creche caters for pre-school children and their parents. They use the room upstairs that overlooks the worship area, we try to ensure that parents feel part of the worship as far as possible.


We have recently formed the Beginners group and this caters for children you have just started school; 3-5 year olds who would be in Nursery and Reception classes. We have two members of staff who operate a rota system but we are praying for two more.


The Primary group is for children who are in the Infant department at school i.e. 5-7 year olds; this group is staffed by 4 people who work on a regular rota system.


The Junior group has children from 7-11 years of age. They tend to be more independent in their working and care is taken to stimulate the older members of the group.
